Wine tour Bolgheri:

A drive from the port, along the coast of Tuscany, you will arrive to a part that not many travellers have visit. A side of Tuscany that is less commercial and more sirene.
Livorno left behind, is the path that winds between the sea and nature, leading to the archaeological treasures of art and culture of the Etruscan Coast. There are beautiful sea resorts where you can find white sandy beaches as darker beaches and cliffs carved by wind where depths are deep and fish.

First stop will be the town of Bibbona, located in the heart of the Etruscan Coast and not far from Bibbona, this town was all but wiped out by the troops of Maximilian I in 1496. They tore down its ancient castle and tower. But it was later rebuilt, and prosperity returned thanks to the vision of its leaders. After a visit to this lovely town, you will contuine to the region and also the town of Bolgheri, which was a medieval village founded in Etruscan times. At the heart of country is the Church of Sant'Ilario century and around a grid of streets follows the folds of the hill surrounded by walls. On the way up to the center meets the Old Town on whose facade there are a number of tombstones that describe the life of the country.

Borgheri
This is one of the most beautiful areas of the Tuscan coast and also known as the "Bordeaux of Tuscany". Although the region has been mentioned in old accounts of viticulture, it has no history of quality wine, and it wasn’t till very recent times that the name became known to the world’s wine lovers, it is the birth of a new quality wine address in Italy.
This region was a thriving seaport at one time, and it is this proximity to the sea which today distinguishes the wines of this area from those of other regions with similar latitude, like Montalcino. Initially however, this was a factor which prevented the area from being considered for cultivating vine for anything other than household use. The sea air gave the wines from the region a salty tang.

We will also organize personalized wine tasting tours in famous wine producing estates as well as the local wine houses.
