After you are greeted at your hotel (either in Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi coast), you will make your way to the archaeological site of Pompeii, the ancient city whose ruins were preserved by the volcanic eruption for almost 2000 years ago here you will spend the duration of the morning, before heading off to Mount Vesuvius, where you will climb to the summit and see the active volcano. From here a drive along the Amalfi coast to the most famous village, Positano, where you will spent the afternoon in the narrow, winding streets and seaside cafes before heading back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
