Cooking Class

A private cooking lesson of one the most important dishes on the Italian’s dining table. Pasta!

Your chef for the day will greet you in the morning, as soon as you get to the kitchen, he will  go through menu with you over a cup of coffee or Cappuccino, before getting your started for your lesson. Cutting and blending all the colourful ingredients and flavours, learning from scratch how to make two different pasta dishes by your choice and the famous dessert, Tiramisu… all.

After the cooking process it is time to enjoy your meal, sitting around a table in the outside terrace, enjoy a glass of Prosecco, view of the city and finally your creations!

This walking tour is created for those who wishes to see Rome in a slower pace and enjoy the good life of wine, culture and food! Our gourmet food tour takes you on an exploration of local food of Rome, come hungry and thirsty!

Your guide will meet you at your hotel to start your culinary adventure with a walk through the squares and local neighborhoods of Rome, making your way to one of Rome’s energetic squares, Campo dei Fiori. Wandering the stalls and while your guide explain the local food, from vegetables to olive oil, explain which are in season and are not.

From here, just a stroll away you’ll sit down in a lovely enoteca, winery, where your personal sommelier will take you on a wine journey of Italy: You will learn about different wine from different parts of Italy, learn to taste them and distinguish the difference, learning about the aging process, all accompanied by Italian cheeses, delicacies and bruschette.

After your personal wine tour, you will walk along the river passing Castel St Angelo and crossing the bridge of angels to a local restaurant where you’ll get to enjoy a tasting of traditional primi, pasta dishes, where the owner himself will serve you the two best known roman pasta dishes accompanied of course by a glass of wine from the region of Lazio.

No meal is complete without coffee or a delicious gelato, to end your perfect Roman meal.

Sunlight food tour

This walking tour starts at the very heart of city centre, where one of the most impressive sites is located, the Pantheon. Your private guide will explain this magnificent ancient Roman temple to you and take you to taste the best Cappuccino in the city at the world famous Coffee shop, Tazza d’Oro.

From here a walk through the old streets of Rome would lead you to Piazza Navona where you will learn about the Baroque art, the master Bernini and also visit the important church of st Luise to see works of art by Caravaggio before heading over to Campo dei Fiori and see the famous fruit and vegetable market in an incomparable setting of medieval houses.

Just a walk away going towards the Castle St Angelo it is time to visit a local gastronomy shop, here you can taste some of the delicacies from the region of Lazio, salami and cheeses and have a roman appetizer dish and have lunch at a neighbouring restaurant where the owner himself will serve you the two best known roman pasta dishes accompanied of course by a glass of wine from the region of Lazio.

After lunch you will walk to the Trevi fountain to see this masterpiece and to insure your return back to the city by throwing your coin inside of the fountain and of course last but not least a good original Gelato is in order before concluding your tour.

Afternoon food

Once you meet up with your guide you will walk to one of the most charming part of the city called Rione Ponte, located in the heart of the city. Here you will explore some of the most special delicacies in a small local gastronomical shop such as local wonderful cheeses, salami  and bread accompanied by a great house wine.

From here you will stroll around the neighborhood towards the famous Trevi fountain too see the most beautiful  fountain in the world, before heading to the Pantheon for a wine tasting at a small local winery to explore the taste of Italy through wine,.

After your wine tasting, just a walk away there is Piazza navona where you will try one of the best Coffes in Rome and an organic Gelato that would leave you speechless. We are here to fascinate and delight you with the tastes of Rome, meanwhile your guide will share wonderful stories about the city. This guided tour is for you to learn about the Roman culture and history with a taste of authentic Roman delicacies and experience a beaten path in this eternal city.
