This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of the ETRUSCAN villages TARQUINIA and CERI. After you are greeted in the port of Rome, you will proceed northeast through the countryside reaching Tarquinia, located 30 min away from the port.
Here you will find the greatest Etruscan museum in the world, with well-preserved sarcophagi, paintings, tombs, frescoes from the 6th to 1st centuries B.C. and the largest Etruscan necropolis.
Moving on, you will arrive in the medieval town of Ceri for some lunch and further sightseeing. You will spend the duration of your day inside the medieval walls of the city. Before you are returned back to your ship in the port of Rome.

Based on our experience we can provide 5* hours touring in Rome before heading to your ship, which you’ll need to board in the early afternoon. Traveling time to reach the port of Civitavecchia is about 1 hour and a half.

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of Rome’s surrounding countryside; TIVOLI and the VILLAS of HADRIAN and D’ESTE*.
After you are greeted at the Port of Rome you will drive through the countryside to arrive at the most sought after site of the ancient Roman elites; Tivoli. In the morning you will spend some time visiting the ancient ruins and summer home of the Emperor in Villa Hadrian before you are escorted to lunch.
Continuing on, you will arrive in Villa D’Este, the renaissance summer estate, known for its exquisitely manicured gardens and highly praised fresco paintings.
When you have completed all of your sightseeing, you will be returned to the Port of Rome.

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy all the highlights of ROME in a day, and at relaxed pace.
You will be greeted at the Port of Rome and will make your way to the very historical center of Rome and begin your tour at the National Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II in Piazza Venezia. You will then continue on to the splendors of Ancient Rome, which include the vicinity of the Roman and Imperial Forums, the Coliseum, the Capital and Palatine Hills, the Circus Maximus, and the glorious Pantheon. Moving on, you will walk through the famed Piazza Navona, see the glorious Pantheon, stopping at the Spanish Steps, before throwing your coins into the Trevi Fountain. After a stop for a traditional Italian lunch, you will head over to the Vatican City where you would spend the duration of your afternoon enthralled in the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter Basilica for couple of hours before making your way back to the port of Rome.
It is important to note that proper attire must be worn in the Vatican; shoulders and knees must be covered. The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are closed on Sundays with the exception of the last Sunday of every month.

NOTE: with the massive security lines to the Coliseum, even with the tickets prebooked, we recommend viewing it from the outside in order to not spend much time lining up and losing time. If you still want to enter, please get your Coliseum admission tickets for 10:00 am.
