Tarquinia & Ceri

Etruscan Tour

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of the ETRUSCAN villages TARQUINIA and CERI. After you are greeted at your hotel, you will proceed northeast through the countryside reaching Tarquinia .

Here you will find the greatest Etruscan museum in the world, with well-preserved sarcophagi, paintings, tombs, frescoes from the 6th to 1st centuries B.C. and the largest Etruscan necropolis.

Moving on, you will arrive in the medieval town of Ceri for some lunch and further sightseeing. You will spend the duration of your day inside the medieval walls of the city. Before you are returned back to your hotel in Rome.

* Upon request we can also include Tuscania.

Please note that the Etruscan museum is closed on Mondays!

All rates are payable in cash (Euros only) at the end of each service or with Zelle. We do not accept credit cards on the day of the service.
Services include pickup from and drop-off back at either your hotel or at your cruise ship in one of our luxury vehicles by an English-speaking driver.
Lunch, gratuities, and any entrance fees to attractions are not included. Also please note that we may change the order of the itinerary at our discretion.

Castel Gandolfo and Frascati

Castel Gandolfo & Frascati

This day trip is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of CASTEL GANDOLFO and FRASCATI.

Your day will begin with a drive up to Castel Gandolfo, where you will spend the duration of your morning exploring the summer residence of the Pope. Those who visit in the summer months may have the opportunity to take part in either the Pope’s Papal Audience on Wednesday, or his Public Blessing on Sundays. For lunch you will move on to Frascati, an area renowned for its magnificent villas and world class wine production. The duration of your afternoon will be spent sightseeing here before your return to Rome.

All rates are payable in cash (Euros only) at the end of each service. Traveler’s checks are also accepted. We do not accept credit cards.
Services include pickup from and drop-off back at either your hotel or at your cruise ship in one of our luxury vehicles by an English-speaking driver.

It is our pleasure to organize personalized wine tastings and tours. Please indicate at time of booking if you have any special requests. Also, please note that wine tastings and tours of the individual wineries are not included in our fees.

Tivoli Gardens

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy the best known Roman surroundings; TIVOLI and the HADRIAN’S VILLA and VILLA D’ESTE*.
After you are greeted by your English speaking driver, you will begin the tour of Rome’s countryside. You will arrive at the most interesting destination of the ancient Roman elites; Tivoli. In the morning you will spend time visiting the ancient ruins and countryside villa of the Emperor Hadrian before lunch. Continuing on, you will arrive in Villa D’Este, the renaissance summer estate known for its exquisitely manicured gardens, fountains and highly praised fresco paintings. When you have completed all of your sightseeing, you will be driven back to Rome.

We can also offer you a private licensed guide for the day that would enter the sites with you, as the driver cannot follow you in to the sites – Euro 450

*Entrances fees to both Villa Hadrian and Villa D’Este are approximately 15 Euro each.

Orvieto, Todi & Assisi

This day trip is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of the UMBRIA region, including the destinations of ORVIETO, TODI and ASSISI.

After you are greeted by your English speaking driver you will begin your tour of Umbria. You will begin your exploration in the Etruscan town of Orvieto, renowned for its vast countryside, olive groves, and wineries. You will continue on to the ancient township of Todi where you may chose to have lunch. Carrying on, you will visit the medieval town of Assisi, where you will spend the majority of your afternoon sightseeing in the area surrounding the Church of Santa Chiara.

Cancellation policy

Please, note that there will be no charge if you cancel your reservation by e-mail at least 1 week before the date of the requested service. If it is not done in these terms, our company reserves the right to debit the "no show fee" on your credit card which is the total amount of the requested services. Once you fill out our reservation form and insert your credit card information, you are legally bound to a contract with us.

Payment option

We need your Credit Card to hold your bookings but your card will not be charged. All rates are payable in cash (Euros only) at the end of each service. In case of cancellation a refund will not be issued but a LIFETIME CREDIT VOUCHER, which is transferable and can be used in future visits.

Museums and historical sites are free first Sunday of the month so please note that there will be lines and crowds since tickets cannot be pre booked.
