Your first destination for the day will be the archeological site of Pompeii, where we suggest you consider using the aid of one of our licensed guides to make the best of your visit.
Pompeii was a thriving Roman city until 79AD when Mount Vesuvius erupted. The ashes from the eruption buried the city completely, thus preserving it almost intact for many centuries, until today.
Pompeii is a vast site, extending across 170 acres, featuring houses, shops, streets, squares, theatres, villas and all the amenities an ancient Roman city could provide. For this reason we suggest you consider having the aid of one of our licensed local guides inside the site to make the most of your experience.
After your visit to Pompeii you will have time for lunch before heading to your next destination: Naples.
Naples is a lively colorful city, where you can appreciate the exquisite details of its architecture and the splendid works of art that adorn its squares and streets. See the Royal Palce and the famous Plebiscito Square, the picturesque Umberto Gallery and the Maschio Angiolino Castle and don’t forget the most important Archeological Museum in Europe!
Please keep in mind that the order in which we will show you the sites may vary according to the traffic of the day.
Also, in case you have already visited Pompeii, you can substitute it with Herculaneum, provided you let us know your desire when booking. The site is less famous and smaller, but still harbors a worthy wealth of archeological findings.

You will be greeted at the Port of Naples before making your way to the archaeological site of Pompeii, the ancient city whose ruins were preserved by the volcanic eruption that devastated it in 79AD. For couple of hours time you have to explore Pompeii before heading to Herculaneum, a renowned seaside resort visited only by the Roman aristocrats to spend their summers, which was completely buried by the lava and mudflow from eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 79 AD. Your morning will be full with history while afternoon you have time to relax and visit a private wine estate located at the feet of M. Vesuvius
You will be given a guided tour in their vineyards and enjoy lunch in a beautiful terraced garden to taste the specialties of the Campania region (Bruschetta, salami, provolone cheese, spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and the Pastiera Napoletana a ricotta and corn pie). Accompanied with wine tasting of 5 different wines of Lacryma Christi, local to the area, white, red and rosè to finish with a spumante (sparkling wine) and last but not least a distilled of apricot before heading back to the port.

This day excursion is designed for foodies who wish to enjoy some of the specialties of Italy. This is an experience not to be missed, based on tradition of the food, aromas, tastes and the culture.
Your driver will pick you up at the port for a drive along the picturesque Sorrento peninsula. You can easily stop on along the way for photos opportunities of the panorama before arriving to the small little village of Schiazzano. Your first visit it to farm factory “La Masseria”. You have part of the morning here to walk along the paths, learning the history and to be enchanted by the quality of that this soil has to offer. Refreshed by a cool lemonade, taste the homemade marmalade, organic honey, extravirgin olive oil and olive oil with lemon and orange, all accompanied with fresh daily bread and a good glass of local wine.
Just a stroll away it is time to visit the second farm factory, “Il Turuziello” where you will learn more about the daily production of the famous mozzarella (from the verb mozzare, cut by hands) and taste the aged Provolone, the fresh Caciotta, (soft mozzarella) and their genuine Salame, accompanied with a glass of wine and home made bread on a terrace with a wonderful view.
For lunch you have to opportunity to make your own Pizza and take a quick pizza lesson. The Pizza Maker “Pizzaiolo” will teach you the secret of making an excellent dough and the perfect Pizza topping it with all of your favorites. To finally set down and enjoy it. The lunch include also a soda, water, and dessert. After lunch you will taste the famous limoncello of mamma Maria which would also share her recipe to produce this famous lemon liqueur.
After a busy morning you have time to relax and enjoy the afternoon in Sorrento. To stroll the town, do some shopping and have local home made Gelato before heading back to the port.
The total cost for the guided visit, the taste of their products and Pizza lesson at the Restaurant Da Francesco is 55 Euros per person.
It is free of charge for children under 5 years old and for kids from 6 to 12 years old the price will be 30 Euros.

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy some of the specialties of Campania Region such as Extra-virgin Olive oil, Gelato, Limoncello, Wine and learn to make the very famous PIZZA MARGHERITA.
You will be greeted at the port Naples/Salerno before driving along the picturesque coast of Sorrento to the town itself. First stop is the Gargiulo olive oil factory, where you can visit the old mill from 1849 frantoio and the modern mill, learn all you need about making olive oil and finally taste the extra virgin olive oil but also different types of it all served with fresh baked bread.
From here you will make your way to a private Limoncello factory to learn all about the making of this famous liquor, the tradition behind it to finally tasting it.
After your visit the factory your driver will take you to a local Restaurant for your own private pizza lesson. Your Pizzaiolo, (pizza teacher) will give you an apron and a hat to start rolling out and tap the pizza dough, followed by the ingredients: the mozzarella, tomato, basil and olive oil (Pizza Margherita) or you can personalize your Pizza with your favorite toppings. Once your Pizza is ready to cook, it will be placed in a wooden oven and after a few minutes ready to be eaten, followed by Gelato and a glass of limoncello.
In the afternoon you will take a stroll visiting the historical centre of Sorrento with its beautiful stores and cafès where you can buy your souvenirs.
Before heading back to the port, it is time to stop at a local winery near Mt. Vesuvius to enjoy an amazing view of the bay of Naples, have a guided tour in the winery, where the famous wine “Lacryma Christy DOC” (tears of Christ) is made and taste 3 different wines (white, red and rosè) served with some appetizers. The day will conclude here, after which you will be returned to the port.

This day excursion is designed for those wish to enjoy the highlights of SORRENTO, POSITANO on the
Amalfi Coast and the archaeological site of STABIAE.
You will be greeted at the Port of Naples before making your way to the archaeological site of Stabiae, the
ancient Roman town, you will spend the duration of the morning visiting the ancient Villa San Marco, one
of the largest villas ever discovered in this region, measuring more than 11,000 square meters with its atrium, a courtyard containing a
pool, a triclinium with views of the entire bay of Naples and a colonnaded courtyard. After your visit you will continue on to the
picturesque coastal village of Sorrento for lunch and if you wish olive oil tasting in a local factory.
Continuing along the Amalfi Coast to the on the of the most famous towns of all on the coast, Positano, where you can spend the afternoon exploring the winding, narrow streets and seaside cafes, The day will conclude here, after which you will be returned to the Port of Naples.

After you are greeted at the Port of Naples you will make your way to the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. You will spend the duration of your morning exploring the pristinely preserved site, before you set off for lunch and sightseeing in the picturesque coastal village of Sorrento.
Continuing on, you will be escorted to either the entrance of the ferry boat or hydrofoils (at your preference) where you will set off on your own to explore the island of Capri.

Your afternoon will be spent in the narrow, winding streets and seaside cafes of Positano before returing to the Port of Naples at the end of the day.
Please note Herculanum might be last stop on this itinerary coming in from the port of Naples.

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy the highlights of the AMALFI COAST and the picturesque villages of Ravello, Amalfi and Positano. Three of the Jewels the Amalfi Coast is famous for.
After you are greeted at the port of Naples by one of our professional English speaking drivers, you will ascend up the mountains to the charming town of Ravello. You will spend the morning exploring this mountainous area, which overlooks the breathtaking Amalfi Coast.
A part of the morning will be dedicated to Ravello and the rest to Amalfi. How much time you wish to spend in each town is really up to you, as long as it fits into the rest of the schedule. Just let your driver know.
Ravello will provide spectacular views of the coastline below thanks to its “Eagle Nest” position high on the mountains. While Amalfi has a lower, and a little flatter position on the coast, looks like a glossy “Pearl”, thanks to the white hues of its houses.
At some point it will be time for lunch. You may choose somewhere along the coast before heading to Positano, or wait until you reach it. Positano is best known for its many colors: the green of the mountains around it, the blue of the sea right in front and the pink and yellow shades of the houses.
You will spend the remainder of the afternoon here, before being returned to your ship in the Port of Naples.
