Positano, Sorrento and wine tasting

This day trip is designed for those who wish to enjoy highlights of Positano on the Amalfi Coast, the town of Sorrento and also taste the best wines of the Campania region.

You will be greeted at your accommodation by your driver at 8:00 am, before making your way along the coast to the picturesque coastal village of Positano located on the Amalfi coast, to walk around the winding, narrow streets and seaside cafes.

You will then proceed to Sorrento where you will have the opportunity to visit Cantine De Angelis.

The winery was founded by Raffaele De Angelis, in 1936 and the tradition was followed by his family with the same passion and commitment. All wines produced by De Angelis family reflect their knowledge and experience in cultivating grapes into a modern evolution of production. Here you will visit the cellar and taste the best local Wine produced in the Campania region (like Aglianico, Falanghina, Lacryma Christy) perfectly paired with appetizers prepared with specialties of the Sorrentina Peninsula (like home made bread, extra virgin olive oil, salame, cheese, ham, etc).

You can choose between these 2 wine packages:
1) Sorrento White & Red + Nero del Tasso (Red Reserve) and Bianco del Tasso (White Reserve)
2) Lacryma Christy of Vesuvius White, Red and Rosè + Aglianico (Red) & Falanghina (White)

After enjoying your wine tasting experience, you will have some free time in the afternoon to enjoy the famous town of Sorrento, and returning back to your accommodation.

The price for the wine tasting at the Cantine De Angelis is of Euro 35 per person.

Capri boat tour

This unique experience will allow you to enjoy one of the most coveted destinations in Italy: Capri Island. Your day starts at Sorrento accommodations where your driver will pick you up and head to the Massa Lubrense Marina, where your private English Speaking Skipper will be waiting for you to board on your exclusive Gozzo Sorrentino Boat and set sail to the beautiful Island of Capri. You will make way to The White Grotto, the Natural Arch and the Malaparte Villa. You will also pass through the iconic Faraglioni Grotto, where you will have a photo opportunity. Thereafter, you will be able to enjoy a swim in the warm Tyrrhenian sea at the Marina Piccola, where you can relax before you continue to the Green Grotto, the Punta Carena Lighthouse the Tiberio baths as well as the famous Blue Grotto, where you can choose to go in with their guided tour. You will have 4 hours to explore the town of Capri and Anacapri before heading back to port ready to embark.

The services include snorkeling equipment for your swim stop, drinks and snacks. Your Boat is equipped with bathroom and shower, and free Wi-Fi on board. Please note that admission tickets to the Blue Grotto, beach towels and sun cream are not included.

The tour is available every day, if weather conditions allow.

Positano and Amalfi coast boat tour

The sea breeze on your face and the mesmerizing view of the Mediterranean landscape of the Amalfi Coast from the comfort of your private boat tour. On our Positano and Amalfi Boat Tour, you will savor one of the most captivating coastlines in Italy. Your day starts at Sorrento accommodations where your driver will pick you up and head to the Massa Lubrense Marina, where your English Speaking Skipper will be waiting for you to come aboard your private Gozzo Sorrentino Boat ready to begin your journey. You will start your adventure by sailing through the Sorrento Coast, the Cascatella di Punta Lagno, Cala di Mitigliano and Punta Campanella. Afterward, you will make way to the Amalfi Coast and pass through the Ieranto Bay, the Cantone Marina and the Fiordo di Crapolla. You will stop for a refreshing swim at the Li Galli before continue on to Praiano, Furone and Conca dei Marini and arriving to the port in Amalfi, the small and ancient town that has given its name to the entire coast. You will have 1 hour and a half to explore this tiny, colourful town, and its sun filled piazzas. You can choose to invest part of your available time to visit the Emerald Grotto, which is famous for the unearthly green shade that emanates from the water. Once you have finished exploring you will continue your journey to Positano, the scenic and picture perfect town, where you can take pleasure in strolling down its wonderful piazzas and be amazed by the views. After an hour and a half, your Skipper will be waiting to sail back bordering the sea line to port.

Pompeii, Herculaneum, Wine Tasting

After you are greeted at your hotel (either in Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi coast), before making your way to the archaeological site of Pompeii, the ancient city whose ruins were preserved by the volcanic eruption that devastated it in 79AD. For couple of hours time you have to explore Pompeii before heading to Herculaneum, a renowned seaside resort visited only by the Roman aristocrats to spend their summers, which was completely buried by the lava and mudflow from eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 79 AD. Your morning will be full with history while afternoon you have time to relax and visit a private wine estate located at the feet of M. Vesuvius

You will be given a guided tour in their vineyards and enjoy lunch in a beautiful terraced garden to taste the specialties of the Campania region (Bruschetta, salami, provolone cheese, spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and the Pastiera Napoletana a ricotta and corn pie). Accompanied with wine tasting of 5 different wines of Lacryma Christi, local to the area, white, red and rosè to finish with a spumante (sparkling wine) and last but not least a distilled of apricot before heading back to your hotel.

* We do highly recommend a private licensed guide for Pompeii and Herculaneum ruins (especially in Pompeii). Tickets are Euros 19 per person for Pompei and Euros 16 for Herculaneum.
** Lunch with wine tasting will cost 48 Euros per person, kids that will not drink wine will be charged only for lunch 20 Euros per person

Day trip Matera

Matera is one of the most unusual, interesting and singular tourist destinations in Italy. Located in region of Basilicata in southern Italy named also the European Cultural Capital for the year 2019. After you are greeted at your hotel (either in Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi coast), you will make your way from the region of Campania to the region Basilicata and the town of Matera.

Matera is know for its extensive and ancient cave dwellings, the sassi, that were inhabited as far back as Paleolithic times. The highlights in the sassi are a series of ancient, Byzantine style churches. Santa Maria de Idris is carved into a huge rock pinnacle perched on a rock ledge overhanging the ravine. Another rock church, Santa Lucia alle Malve contains 10th century frescoes. While spending the morning in the Sassi, afternoon after lunch a typical at a local place, you have time to explore the actual town, starting with a visit at Cathedral which is the highest point in the city. The walls and columns in the Cathedral are painted a light blue with opulent gold trim and the nave is lined with chapels on both sides, another highlight is the small but very interesting Church of the Purgatorio, the interior is heavenly light blue color and colorful frescoes adorn the walls, but a dramatic counterpoint to the skull and crossbones and stern admonitions posted on the exterior of the church. Late afternoon the driver will take you back to your hotel.

Enogastronomic Tour

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy some of the specialties of Campania Region such as Extra-virgin Olive oil, Gelato, Limoncello, Wine and learn to make the very famous PIZZA MARGHERITA.

You will be greeted at your hotel before driving along the picturesque coast of Sorrento to the town itself. First stop is the Gargiulo olive oil factory, where you can visit the old mill from 1849 frantoio and the modern mill, learn all you need about making olive oil and finally taste the extra virgin olive oil but also different types of it all served with fresh baked bread.

From here you will make your way to a private Limoncello factory to learn all about the making of this famous liquor, the tradition behind it  to finally tasting it.

After your visit the factory your driver will take you to a local Restaurant for your own private pizza lesson. Your Pizzaiolo, (pizza teacher) will give you an apron and a hat to start rolling out and tap the pizza dough, followed by the ingredients: the mozzarella, tomato, basil and olive oil (Pizza Margherita) or you can personalize your Pizza with your favorite toppings. Once your Pizza is ready to cook, it will be placed in a wooden oven and after a few minutes ready to be eaten, followed by Gelato and a glass of limoncello.

In the afternoon you will take a stroll visiting the historical centre of Sorrento with its beautiful stores and cafès where you can buy your souvenirs.

Before heading back to the hotel, it is time to stop at a local winery near Mt. Vesuvius to enjoy an amazing view of the bay of Naples, have a guided tour in the winery, where the famous wine “Lacryma Christy DOC” (tears of Christ) is made and taste 3 different wines (white, red and rosè) served with some appetizers. The day will conclude here, after which you will be returned to the hotel.

* The cost for Limoncello and Olive Oil tasting is free of charge
* The cost for the wine tasting tour is 25 Euro per person.

Amalfi coast and Villa San Marco

This day excursion is designed for those wish to enjoy the highlights of SORRENTO, POSITANO on the
Amalfi Coast and the archaeological site of STABIAE.

After you are greeted at your hotel (either in Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi coast), you will make your way to the archaeological site of Stabiae, the ancient Roman town. You will spend the duration of the morning visiting the ancient Villa San Marco, one of the largest villas ever discovered in this region, measuring more than 11,000 square meters with its atrium, a courtyard containing a pool, a triclinium with views of the entire bay of Naples and a colonnaded courtyard. After your visit, you will continue on to the picturesque coastal village of Sorrento for lunch and if you wish, enjoy olive oil tasting in a local factory.

Continuing along the Amalfi Coast to the on the of the most famous towns of all on the coast, Positano, where you can spend the afternoon exploring the winding, narrow streets and seaside cafes. The day will conclude here, after which you will be returned to your hotel.

* We can arrange a private licensed guide for Stabiae or you can easily visit on your own. No entrance fee are required.
** Stabiae is partly wheelchair accessible.

Naples and Pompeii

After you are greeted at your hotel (either in Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi coast), you will make your way to the archaeological site of Pompeii, the ancient city whose ruins were preserved by the volcanic eruption that devastated it in 79AD. Here you will spend the morning and then continue to Naples to see some of the highlights of this colorful city, stop for a the very famous Pizza, passing by the main square Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the picturesque gallery of Umberto and the Maschio Angioino Castle. The day concludes with a visit to one the most important archaeological museums in Europe with artworks, private collections and the main artifacts founding during the excavation of Pompeii and Herculaneum before heading back to your hotel.

* We do highly recommend a private licensed guide for Pompeii.
** You can choose to replace Pompeii with Herculaneum.
*** Pompeii and Herculaneum are partly wheelchair accessible.
**** You can get the tickets to sites on the spot. Tickets are Euros 19 per person for Pompei and Euros 13 for Herculaneum.
Children and students up to age of 18 have a free entrance, an ID is necessary then.

Paestum and Amalfi coast

After you are greeted at your hotel (either in Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi coast), you will start your day by driving along the coast to the ancient site of Paestum that has been for centuries a romantic ruin in the midst of wilderness. Its Doric temples in noble simplicity and good preservation, the temple is set in a grassy field surrounded by gardens and hills. You will spend the morning here and the archaeological museum before driving the coast back to Amalfi, which gives name to the whole coast, this town is the biggest of them all, here you will spend the afternoon see the main church and it’s main square before slowly heading back to your hotel.
