Day 1: Arrival to Rome and to Bocelli FarmHouse
On the first exciting day of your Bocelli FarmHouse short tour, you will be arriving in the Italian capital Rome. Your driver will pick you up in a luxurious and comfortable vehicle and take you, to the stunning town and commune of Tuscania situated in the glorious countryside. You will explore this mysterious town, with is medieval and Etruscan decent. Afterwards, you will enjoy a relaxing countryside drive before stopping at one of the oldest and most significant Etruscan settlements known to mankind. Your tour of the spectacular town of Tarquinia will also include a memorable lunch break at Valle del Marta. When you are ready, your driver will take you you directly to the breathtaking Bocelli FarmHouse family nestled among the beautiful Tuscan valleys in Lajatico. On your arrival you will be shown to your luxurious private apartment where you will be able to relax and enjoy the scenery before your evening meal.
Day 2: Florence
You will want to be up bright and early on the second day of your Bocelli FarmHouse Basic Tour as you will be visiting the exquisite Tuscan city of Florence. After having enjoyed a lovely breakfast spread including delightful sweet and savoury treats, your driver will take you to Florence. You will be fascinated by its numerous monuments, churches, and buildings, as Santa Maria del Fiore, more commonly referred to as The Duomo, the Baptistery, with its bronze doors that Michelangelo dubbed the “Gates of Paradise.” Spend the afternoon strolling the Uffizi art gallery where some of the best known paintings are located and of course end your tour with Accademia, the home to Michelangelo’s David. In the evening after a little relaxation time, you will be taken to the Ristorante Da Nello in Lajatico where you will be able to end the evening indulging in some delicious Italian cuisine and top-notch regional wine.
Day 3: Pisa and Lucca
After breakfast you will meet up again with your driver and guide, to spend a portion of your morning at the Leaning Tower and the main square. The cathedral and baptistery, the tower of Pisa, and the Campo Santo or cemetery, together form one of the most beautiful and famous building groups in the world. The “Piazza dei Miracoli” makes a perfect showplace for these exquisite examples of Romanesque architecture. Continuing on along the scenic route in the Tuscan countryside, before arriving to one of the most famous and glorious walled cities of Italy, Lucca. Here you will spend a portion of your afternoon sightseeing the town and Duomo di San Martino, before heading back.
Day 4: On the fourth and final day of your memorable Bocelli FarmHouse Shore Tour you will enjoy yet another wonderful breakfast spread at the Bocelli FarmHouse family before gathering your belongings and bidding a fond farewell to this slice of Tuscan paradise and head back towards Rome. On the way your driver will take you to one of the most beautiful towns in Tuscany, Volterra. Built high on the rolling hills, where you can find an marvelous view and enchanting sites in the city, from the ancient Romans theater to Piazza dei Priori, where Andrea Bocelli performed more then 20 years ago. You have the morning here to explore the town before going to the countryside near Rome for a light Italian lunch at Valle del Marta. You will have time to admire the surrounding countryside as you sit back and enjoy your lunch break with a fine glass of wine, the grapes grown in the fragrant vineyards that encircle you, before embarking on the last stage of your Bocelli FarmHouse Shore Tour.
