BOOKING OUR SERVICES:
As per company policy, you may book our service online through our Reservation form only.
RATES and CANCELLATION POLICY:
Our rates are not determined by the number of individuals in your group, except for our Daily Walking Tours. Instead, the cost of our driver guides and excursions is based on the specific vehicle service provided. The fee for a private tour guide is dependent on the size of your family or group. It’s important to note that we only require your credit card number to secure your reservation.
PAYMENT.
Please note that payments for our services are due at the end of the service, as per the quoted rates. We only accept cash payments in Euro currency. If you prefer, you may prepay in US$ for your services by Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) 10 days prior to the service, with an additional 5% transaction fee. However, please note that prepayments are only accepted for car day tours, shore excursions, day trips, or long-distance transfers. We do not accept prepayment for airport or port transfers, boat tours, and lecture guides.
Please make sure to cancel your reservation no less than seven days before the booked service to avoid any cancellation charges. If you fail to cancel within this time frame, we reserve the right to charge a “no-show fee” and debit payment accordingly.
ENTRANCE FEE to the HISTORICAL SITES:
Please note that the entrance fees to historical sites are not included in our fees. We strongly recommend that all our clients purchase tickets to the Vatican and Colosseum in advance by clicking on the appropriate links in your confirmation email. However, please be aware that the Vatican does not allow pre-reserved entrance tickets on the last Sunday of every month as entry is free, so you may have to wait in line. The Colosseum offers free admission on the first Sunday of the month, so we do not recommend that you visit these sites on these days.
LOCATING our DRIVER or TOUR GUIDE:
Upon arrival at your destination, our team of experienced guide drivers and tour guides will readily greet you at the designated location with a personalized sign that bears your family or party’s name.
If you are arriving via cruise ship, we will be waiting for you at the dock. If your arrival is at the airport, we will be stationed directly outside of the baggage claim area. When the pick-up location is at a hotel, our team will wait for you in the lobby. To help locate us, please inform the hotel concierge of your expected arrival, and they will be happy to assist you.
We highly recommend our private guides for the Vatican City in Rome and the Pompeii sites. Our certified guides are well-versed in the history, culture, and significance of these sites, and are ready to provide a personalized and informative experience that you will never forget.
DRIVER-GUIDE /LECTURE TOUR GUIDE:
We take great pride in the knowledge and expertise of our drivers, who have earned the title of “guide drivers”. However, we would like to inform you that our drivers are not permitted to accompany you during your visit to the historical sites, except in case of an emergency. We are pleased to offer private lecture tour guides to accompany you at your request, providing a more personalized experience of the historical sites. We understand the significance of your visit and want to ensure that you have the best possible experience. Therefore, we emphasize the importance of adhering to our policies and utilizing our lecture tour guides, who are equipped with the expertise and knowledge to enhance your visit.
DRIVERS FOR TRANSFER FROM/TO PORT AND AIRPORT
Fluent English-speaking drivers are not guaranteed for airport and port transfers, as they are reserved for day tours, excursions and long way transfers.
WILL WE BE CHARGED IF OUR SHIP DOES NOT DOCK?
Absolutely not. Our services will automatically be rescheduled for when your ship arrives at the port (depending on availability).
REQUEST for a SPECIFIC DRIVER:
Although it is our utmost pleasure to accommodate your request for a particular driver, we regret to inform you that we cannot always guarantee the fulfillment of your request. While we strive to fulfill every client’s request, unforeseen circumstances may arise, which may result in the assignment of a different driver. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that we will make every effort to ensure that your transportation needs are met to the best of our ability.
TIPPING:
We would like to kindly remind our customers that tipping is not included in our service fees. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by our staff who strive to provide the best possible service. Please note that any gratuity given directly to our staff is entirely voluntary and at the discretion of the customer.
