Florence and Tuscan cooking class
This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy an overview of FLORENCE and experience a cooking class in TUSCANY.
You will be greeted at the Port of Livorno, and will make your way through the countryside to a privately owned castell with a winery near Florence to start your Tuscan cooking experience.
You will be learning to make some of the seasonal dishes starting from the appetizers, then a pasta dish of course and a main dish, not to mention a typical Italian dessert. After the cooking process you will be able also visiting the old wine cellars and learn about the philosophy of wine making before sitting down to taste the perfect Tuscan lunch made by you.
After lunch it is time to visit the Renaissance city of Florence. You have part of the afternoon to explore some of the main highlights such as the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, passing the magnificent Pitti Palace and of course a quick stop to view Michelangelo’s famous sculpture of David in the Accademia* before heading back to the port of Livorno.
Notice: The cost of cooking class/wine is Euro 120 per person, the requirement is min 6 people, even if you are less then that number the cost is calculate from min 6 people.Please book your tickets for Accademia yourself, best option is to call them and book the tickets directly over the phone: 011 39 055 294883, starting from 3 pm
Accademia gallery is closed on Mondays!*For the clients that form a group, please make sure everyone has the same time for each museum.
** Because of lack of time you can only visit the Academia gallery.
In case your ship will change schedule and will be mooring in the port of La Spezia instead of Livorno, the itinerary you chose will remain the same. We will add a 200 Euro extra fee for the extra distance.
All rates are payable in cash (Euros only) at the end of each service or with Zelle. We do not accept credit cards on the day of the service.
Services include pickup from and drop-off at at your cruise ship in one of our luxury vehicles by an English-speaking driver.
Lunch, gratuities, and any entrance fees to attractions are not included. Also please note that we may change the order of the itinerary at our discretion.
City museums are free first Sunday of the month so please note that there will be lines and crowds since tickets cannot be pre booked.
If you are in possession of a Disabled Parking Permit, please bring it with you as it will allow our driver to have better access to the sites, for your comfort.
