Pompeii and Positano
This day trip is designed for those who wish to enjoy highlights of the region of CAMPANIA, including POSITANO and the archaeological site of POMPEII*.
After you are greeted by your English speaking driver, you will make your way to the region of Campania, where you will spend the duration of your day sightseeing. You will begin by exploring the pristinely preserved site of Pompeii, whose ancient ruins were preserved by the volcanic ash that devastated the city in 79AD. You will stop for lunch continuing along the scenic coast of Amalfi to Positano, where you will spend the afternoon in the winding, narrow streets, and seaside cafes. The trip will conclude when you are returned to your hotel in Rome.
