Pisa and Harvesting the Vineyard Experience
The Tour
Learn the antique secrets of winemaking, beginning from choosing the right grape. Early in the morning your driver will wait for you at Livorno Port and take you to see one of the iconic symbols of Italy: The leaning tower of Pisa. After you have taken your must-have pictures, your driver will take you to the heart of Tuscany where you will experience one of the most fascinating and ancestral traditions of Italy: Grape Harvesting. Your instructor will introduce you to the world of winemaking. You will learn about the plants, the varieties, and the meteorological conditions that may affect the outcome of the final product. You will harvest your grapes, and visit the production area where you will learn the complete wine-making process. A Traditional Tuscan lunch complete with a perfect wine tasting experience. Your driver will take you back to your ship at the end of the day.
Lunch includes:
Appetizer of Tuscan cheeses, cold cuts, and bruschetta.
First Course Truffle Lasagna or Tuscan Ribollita (Tuscan vegetable soup)
Main Course Roast meat and side vegetables
Dessert Cantucci biscuits and sweet dessert wine o Vanilla Ice cream and balsamic vinegar.

Lunch, gratuities, and any entrance fees to attractions are not included. Also please note that we may change the order of the itinerary at our discretion.
