After you are greeted at your hotel in Naples, Sorrento, or the Amalfi Coast, you will begin your day by heading into Naples to see the highlights of this colorful city. You will pass by the main square of Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the picturesque Umberto Gallery, and the Maschio Angioino Castle, stopping along the way to enjoy a taste of the city’s very famous pizza. Next, you will visit one of the most important archaeological museums in Europe to view the artworks, private collections, and significant artifacts discovered during regional excavations. Your journey concludes at the archaeological site of Pompeii, the ancient city whose ruins were preserved by the volcanic eruption that devastated it in 79AD.
