This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy a different Rome, away from the more touristic places, but still filled with wonders.
Your English speaking driver will meet you right in front of your ship in Civitavecchia, ready to drive you to Rome, where you will start your day in one of the oldest sites in the city – the Appian Way. You will stroll along the peaceful road on some of the original paving stones, dating back to Roman times.
Next is a visit the Catacombs, a maze of underground Christian cemeteries dating to the 1st century, this is a unique experience to walk the eerie tunnels filled with empty tomb niches and beautiful frescoes.
Your next stop is the Park of the Aqueducts to see one of the massive and well-constructed ancient aqueduct, carrying tons of water into to the city for centuries, you’ll have time to walk next to it, a chance that not many visitors get.
After which, your driver will take you back to the city center. Passing the magnificent Baths of Caracalla, 3rd century baths that could hold more than 1500 people at a time going on the Aventine hill, one of the seven hills of Rome to see one of the secrets of Rome (not the best kept secret :), the keyhole.
From here you will continue on to the other side of the Tiber, the most bohemian part of the city, as they say “where the true Romans live”. Here you will visit the main square and one of the oldest and most beautiful medieval churches in the Rome, Santa Maria in Trastevere.
You’ll end this day in Rome, at the top of the Janiculum Hill where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city before heading back to your ship in Civitavecchia.

Based on our experience we can provide 8* hours touring in Rome before heading either to the airport or your hotel in Rome. Traveling time from the port of Civitavecchia is about 1 hour and a half.

You will be greeted at the Port of Civitavecchia by our driver, and will make your way to Center of Rome, you can decide of course where you wish to be dropped off to enjoy the city on your own at your comfort and see what you wish to see. The driver will set at meeting place and time for you to meet him for your transfer back to the port in the afternoon when ever you are ready.

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to enjoy a relaxing day and to discover the hidden countryside of Rome.
You will be greeted at the Port of Rome and will then continue to the medieval town of Sutri, with its ancient origins from the Etruscan and has some of the important and undiscovered Etruscan monuments worth visiting. You can see the ancient city walls still intact around this little villages, see the Roman amphitheatre which is one of the oldest one in this region and the Etruscan necropolis. The most interesting site of all is a small church built in the rocks where you can still see fresco from the 14the cent. After visiting this remarkable site, you can climb higher to a garden that feels almost enchanted where you can have beautiful view of the village and the ancient amphitheatre. Here you can spend duration of the morning and finally now enter this small villages passing through the city gate and walk the quite small streets to the main square.
Next stop is the lovely medieval town of Capranica, located on a tufa block where time seems to stand still. You can walk the narrow streets and visit the main church and visit the main Castle and see the famous Clock bridge. Here you will spend duration of the afternoon before heading back to the port.

This day is designed for those who wish to enjoy a leisure side of Rome, to visit some of the historical site and enjoy it’s delicacies
You will be greeted at the Port of Rome and will make your way to the very center of Rome to visit one the most important ancient site, the Pantheon, to admire the once ancient Roman temple dedicated to all the pagan Gods. After your visit the driver will take you to one of the side cafes for you to taste the true Cappuccino and Italian coffee before strolling in Piazza Navona, the square of the artists where you can learn about Baroque art and the master Bernini.
Just a few minutes away you will now visit Campo de’ Fiori, hosting the charming and vibrant flower, fruit and vegetable market in an incomparable setting of medieval houses. Here you can pick the best funghi porcini and the best artichokes in town, shop for the best Mediterranean spices and olive oil before driving a way to a local gastronomy shop to taste the local salami, prosciutto, cheeses local to the region of Lazio, this would be a typical appetizer dish in Rome just before a light pasta lunch at a local restaurant where you can have two tips of pasta dishes, Amatriciana and Carbonara, unlike anything you have tasted, accompanied with a glass of the local wine from Lazio.
After lunch it is time to visit the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain where you can insure your return back to the city by throwing your coin inside of the fountain and of course shop if you wish to, then last but not least a good original Gelato is in order before heading back to the port.

A stunning medieval village dramatically positioned on a tufa ridge with rich Etruscan heritage. You can visit the underground tunnels and caves beneath the city that have been in use since Etruscan times when the cliff was dotted with tombs.
Then you will be visiting Sorano, a beautiful and characteristic medieval village in the hidden part of Tuscany, surrounded by nature attracts thousands of visitors. Here you will spend the afternoon exploring this charming town before heading back to the port of Rome.

Ancient Rome private tour – 3 hours total
This tour is to trace the history of the glorious past of the Eternal City from the beginning to the end. We will walk through the monumental ruins and imposing buildings to understand the politics, religion and organization of ancient Rome.
First stop is the glorious Coliseum constructed 80 AD, now the symbol of the city and the Ancient world, then a visit to the Palatine hill to walk along the main road through the Roman Forum where the capital of the Ancient word was at the time. You will learn about the remaining monuments and the daily life, spending rest of the time here before climbing to the top of the Capitoline Hill for a final view of the ancient Rome.

The tour has been designed for an active traveller who loves walking and wishes to get a very good overview of most important Roman sights in one day, the Ancient Rome and Vatican.
Your tour starts with the glorious Ancient Rome, Coliseum and the Roman forum, where your private guide will bring this historical site alive to you and spend the morning learning about the ancient life.

This day excursion is designed for those who wish to go back in to the ancient times by visiting Ostia, an ancient Rome city and Cerveteri, one of the most important Etruscan sites in the world.
Not too far from Rome, in the countryside of the city lay Ancient town of Ostia. Our driver will pick you up from the port of Rome and you will spend the first half of the day exploring the beautifully preserved 2nd century ruins of the once thriving Ancient Osita with one of our personal private licensed guides. This marvelously preserved site presents Roman life at the time of the Caesars. From bars and bathrooms to boarding houses and brothels, Ostia illustrates how the noble and the normal citizens lived, functioned and interacted in this Roman port city. You will spend the duration of your morning here, sightseeing on foot before you head off to lunch and before getting to Cerveteri, where one of the best preserved Etruscan tombs still remaining in the world, before you are returned back to your hotel
