Learn the antique secrets of winemaking, beginning from choosing the right grape. Early in the morning your driver will wait for you at your Rome Hotel and drive you to the beautiful city of Siena, the epitome of the medieval period. Here you will enjoy its architecture and lively atmosphere, including the iconic Piazza del Campo, where the antique horse race, the Palio delle Contrade, takes place twice a year. After your visit, your driver will take you to the heart of Tuscany where you will experience one of the most fascinating and ancestral traditions of Italy: Grape Harvesting. Your instructor will introduce you to the world of winemaking. You will learn about the plants, the varieties, and the meteorological conditions that may affect the outcome of the final product. You will harvest your grapes, and visit the production area where you will learn the complete wine-making process. A Traditional Tuscan lunch complete with a perfect wine tasting experience.
Your driver will then take you back to your hotel.
